Facility Configuration
Facility settings apply to all units and patients within the facility.
Facility Settings

| Name | Display name for the facility |
| Timezone | Facility's local timezone (used for shift boundaries and reports) |
| Observation interval default | Default minutes between observations (typically 15) |
| EMR integration | Whether EMR sync is enabled |
Timezone
The facility timezone determines:
- When shifts start and end
- How timestamps display in reports
- Nighttime protocol activation times
All data is stored in UTC. The timezone setting controls display and scheduling only.
caution
Changing the timezone after operations have begun may affect historical reports. Plan timezone changes carefully.
Multi-Facility Support
Organizations with multiple facilities can manage them from a single account:
- Each facility has independent units, staff, and patients
- Staff accounts can be assigned to multiple facilities
- Reports can be generated per-facility or organization-wide
